India routes and journey-order game

Raasta

How Raasta works

A puzzle gives you four stops from a named railway line, road, river journey, pilgrimage route or regional corridor. Arrange the cards in the order a traveller would encounter them, then check the route. If the sequence is wrong, the cards give clear feedback so you can reconsider the geography.

The completed route settles into place and explains the journey as a connected whole. Raasta develops a sense of how Indian cities and regions relate to one another, including north–south and east–west movement, coastal routes and important transport links. It is less about memorising isolated capitals and more about understanding movement across the map. The browser game is free, short enough for a daily break and changes at midnight IST.

Cards can be rearranged as the route takes shape, so the activity combines geographic knowledge with logic. Seeing all four stops together helps players connect familiar place names to a larger corridor instead of treating them as unrelated facts.
